- An OpenLynk account
- Owner role in your organization (only Owners can manage billing)

:::note Legacy plans Accounts created before the introduction of trial-based pricing may remain on their existing legacy plan (including the legacy Free plan). Legacy plans are no longer available to new accounts. :::
Platform Links are links you create manually in the dashboard. Generated Links are links created programmatically via the SDK. If your app generates links dynamically (e.g., share buttons, referral links), the Generated Links limit is the one that matters most.
View Current Usage
- Open the Billing page in the dashboard.
- The usage overview shows your current consumption against plan limits:
- Apps created vs. app limit
- Platform links vs. platform link limit
- Generated links vs. generated link limit
- Monthly clicks vs. click limit
- Short URLs vs. short URL limit
- Team seats used vs. seat limit
Usage counters for clicks reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Link and app counts reflect your current totals.

Understanding Usage Limits
When you reach a plan limit, the following happens:
| Limit Reached | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Apps | You cannot create new apps until you upgrade or delete an existing app |
| Platform Links | You cannot create new links in the dashboard until you upgrade or delete existing links |
| Generated Links | SDK link creation calls return an error until the limit resets or you upgrade |
| Clicks/Month | Links continue to work, but click tracking may be paused until the next billing cycle |
| Short URLs | You cannot create new short URLs until you upgrade or delete existing ones |
| Team Seats | You cannot invite new members until you upgrade or remove existing members |
Approaching your click limit does not break your links. Users can still open links and be redirected to your app. However, analytics tracking may be affected once the limit is reached.
Verification
After upgrading or making billing changes, confirm the following:
- The Billing page shows your new plan.
- Usage limits reflect the upgraded plan's allowances.
- Previously blocked actions (e.g., creating apps or links) are now available.
What's Next
- Create and Manage Apps — use your upgraded limits to create more apps.
- Set Up Custom Domains — available on Starter plans and above.
- Manage Your Team — invite additional team members within your seat limit.
